Being a family photographer during the fall is a lot like being an accountant. But not totally! I used to dread January 1st!! Long hours, tons of work…doesn’t sound like a lot of fun does it? 😉 But not anymore….I love the fall for so many more reasons now! The beautiful weather, gorgeous fall colors, and let’s not take everything pumpkin for granted. The very best part of the fall for me now is being reunited with families year after year. I get to enjoy the crisp air, beautiful sunsets, and awesome company of some really great people!
The Kissel family definitely falls into that category. Mom won a session by us in a silent auction at Sugar Creek Elementary last year and I’m so glad she did. It was so great to see them again this year. I love hearing about what the kids are doing and how their new house is coming. Isabel is in theater this year, so we did head shots and I loved hearing about how excited she was for her upcoming play. We even took some time at the end of the shoot to swap battle scars of parenting. I think I can trump people with my Hudson stories, but sometimes it’s fun to hear others stories to realize that he’s just a boy. Boys will be boys! 🙂 Thanks for choosing us again to capture your gorgeous family, Cristy!! I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them!
