And here’s my next kid video for my personal 365 project. I guess I can’t actually call it a 365 project since I’m not doing one every day, but I want to do a minimum of one per month or more than that if the mood strikes me. I feel like having a set number or time they have to be done adds so much pressure to something that is supposed to be fun. I woke up the other morning and just needed to capture the mornings I spend with my 2 year old. He’s the third born, so we are pretty laid back and most things fly. There is a “big” gap between him and his 2 older brothers….he was not a surprise…in fact he was very much the opposite….but because he is our last and there are no other babies around stealing his attention, we tend to soak up moments we took for granted with the other two. We watch a lot of tv, let him splash in the bathtub (for the most part), wear only undies, and run through the house. These mornings will be gone before I know it. Summer is coming and with it so is a new dynamic of 3 children competing for attention, competing for time, competing for things. And just like that my mornings with D will be gone. By next year, he’ll be a totally different kid. Here’s to my tiny sidekick and all his shenanigans <3
