Baby Olivia | 7 days new {Indian Land, SC newborn photography}

It is amazing how newborn photography has been my way of renewing after the events over the last few months.  We recently captured our first cutie since the disruption of our own adoption of a baby girl.  I had anticipated it being tough, but when the time came, it actually helped us in our process and Olivia and her mommies were the PERFECT family for us to meet when we did.

My favorite assistant helped me out on this session and he is always such a baby whisperer.  They brought a flower bathtub they had purchased, but realized had no use other than maybe a sweet picture.  We incorporated it into the session and they absolutely loved the images.  The only other thing they really asked for was to grab all her expressions.  This isn’t so hard when baby is sleeping, but to catch those sweet open eye pictures can sometimes be a challenge.  Sweet Olivia gave me the best opportunity to not only capture her awake, but also all those awesome expressions her mommies were hoping for.  It was so hard to give her back after the session.  We wanted to keep her 🙂 Thanks for letting be a part of such a special time in your lives, Dawn, Danielle, and Olivia!!!
